Hello, it's been awhile since my last journal update thing, so here it goes.
A bunch of things have happened since my last update!
First off, as you may have noticed I got a new camera, the Canon Rebel T3i. It's been really great so far, but I'm really wanting to get a new lens at some point to zoom in further as well as macro shots of course.
I'm sure you guys have been out of the loop of TheGhost2
and my Let's Play show, RushtheFort.
First, we've hit our 100th video recently, and now have 106 videos as of right now! We only have 24-25 subscribers, which hasn't grown exponentially in awhile (has been a pretty steady slow increase in the past 5 months), but we hope that our increasing quality will attract more viewers.
Speaking of which, we recently got a brand new Blue Snowball microphone! This has eliminated the white noise issue we had been having ever since the first episode, and will help in editing and quality overall. Along with this, I found that our video recording software was out of date, so I updated it and we are now able to record audio in separate tracks, meaning our game audio and voice audio can now be edited separately. So when our newer episodes come out after the stockpile we have, we should be able to control the game audio much more easily to ensure our voices can be heard. Woo!
Still on the note of our show, we upgraded our Google+
page (don't know if I had mentioned that or not) so it also will be linking to videos as we post them, and we'll be posting any news related to the show there periodically.
School has been tough recently, mostly because winter storms hurt my head more than rain. So writing papers has been a little tougher, and all self-esteem and overall socials skills are nearly shot every time another one hits. But I have a pretty good Let's Play show, some nice photographs, and am now an admin of the Reddit steam chat, so I have those going for me..
..and now I'm stressed and sad again. I really wish these migraines would go away, for good. Not like how I thought they would be when I had the acupressure procedure half a year ago.
